COLFAX — November 2, 2026. Colfax’s city website announced the new community skatepark’s opening celebration for Saturday, October 3, 2026, with a public event and skateboarding demonstration.

The opening event

According to the city, the launch included demonstrations, music and food vendors. It was a scheduled opening celebration and should not be presented as an upcoming November event.

A community recreation addition

The new skatepark expands opportunities for local skaters and families. The opening announcement itself does not state that supervision, rentals, lessons or equipment are continuously available.

Check before visiting

Visitors should consult city parks notices for operating hours, age requirements, protective gear, temporary maintenance closures and rules for scooters or other wheeled equipment before using the facility.
